 After several decades, MAQUINARIA LORENZANA, S.A., leader in the public Works machinery sector and specialised in the world of concrete, presents its EX – 4000 concrete paver, of reduced dimensions (for spreading widths of between 2 and 4 metres). This new model has a simple, robust design and is easy to operate whilst incorporating all of the latest technologies for levelling and laser guidance. The machine es driven by a 36.6W motor, with hydrostatic transmission and a reducer for two speeds both in forward and reverse travel. The steering system is hydraulically powered, on the centre articulation and the driving post is mounted on the rear chassis, longitudinally positioned and reversible to adapt to the driving direction. The machine moves over the concrete on the (two) tracks, opened to the required spreading width and it drains off surplus concrete to on side. Two vibrating bars in front of the tracks perform the surface finish of the concrete. The EX-4000 is designed to carry out concrete spreading both outside or inside industrial buildings or car parks, which, in these cases has greater improved the mechanisation of concreting operations in small, closed premises.
We have manufactured EX-4000 after checking with our clients the necessities that the market has of this machine type. At the moment, machines to carry out works of spreading concrete are of a great size and important operative complexity, what means a big cost of production and sales effort. Another aspect to keep in mind in this type of machines is its maintenance: after many hours of work the telescopic systems of extended acquire looseness what supposes a bad operation of the levelling systems. These problems are solved with this new machine.
Thanks to all of this, the EX-4000 has been rewarded with the 3er prize of the Competition of Technical Novelties SMOPYC 2005.
